CDSWCC38

This is the card I have done for the Clear Dollar Stamps Weekend Color Challenge over at papercraftplanet.com The beautiful and talented young lady ,Cassie, is our challenge host this weekend and did she ever give us a challenge..Sage Shadow, Apricot Appeal, Close to Cocoa, and optional was Really Rust and the neutrals were either Whisper White or Very Vanilla. I used some flower soft on the big tree. A little stickles on the evergreens just to make 'em pop not trying to make it look like ice. The cross charm was out of my stash from beading and the ribbon is Stampin' Up. I used the cross stamp out of the set to make my own DSP. The Classic Frame is from Spellbinders. The stamp sets I chose to use was Old time Church and Church Chatter for the sentiment on the inside which I am showing you for a reason. I always do the inside but very seldom show them but today I used this sentiment for a particular reason. Cassie's DH is fixing to be deployed for the 3rd time. I just felt in my heart while making this card that my God wanted her DH to know that mine family and a lot of others were so thankful for him and wanted him to know our prayers go with him! TFL Pam
One of the talented ladies that is always playing along with the CDSWCC suggested on my blog to enter this card in the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Card Challenge #6. So say a prayer for me. This card was intended for someone in particular and hopefully he won't mind sharing. Cassie, what do ya think? LOL Pam

No Challenge????

This card was not done with a challenge in mind except for the fact that I am doing my sister's(Layne) Christmas cards this year which is a challenge in itself. I just make up some and she picks the ones she likes and who she is giving them too. Not sure if she'll like the color choice here or not but if she doesn't I do and I can use them instead. Sort of a win-win situation. I used Stampin" Up Basic Black , Silver, and Whisper White Cardstock. The snowflakes are stamped with Versamark and then I used Bridal Tinsel which I heat embossed. Easy-Peasey! The main image is heat embossed with SU Craft Basic Black Ink and Clear Embossing Powder. The inside is a piece of Whisper White that I paper punched a snowflake out of on the corner so the black pops through. Then I stamped my sentiment on the inside. The stamp set for the main image is Wandering Words and the background is Serene Snowflakes both from Stampin' Up. TFL Pam

The colors were not only fallish ( not sure if that is a word or not) but stimulating to me too. Lisa, You chose well again! TFL Pam

Quinceanera

A man who works for my DH has Quinceanera for his daughter today. I matched the colors of her dress she is wearing to the colors in the card. Her dress is actually white with the red bodice and a sprinkle of red flowers on the bottom near the hem. Her crown also has the red in it.
Beautiful little girl and beautiful dress in real life. The stamp set is from SU and you can go to my website with SU to order it or contact me. TFL Pam

Happy 1st Anniversary

This is my first tri-fold shutter card that I have done for my step daughter and her husband 1st Wedding Anniversary. The sentiment on this card is from Rubbernecker. The DSP is from Moxxie again. If you look at my past posts you'll see my niece's BD card done with the same DSP. The stickers on it are different brands that I have had in my stash besides the ones that came with the Moxxie DSP. It was alot of fun and I plan to use this card alot more to help use up some scraps...I actually cut this out on my cricut expression. I got the cut files from http://Okieladybugsscrapnmore.blogspot.com. This woman is fantastic with the cricut and is nice enough to let you download her cut files. Check her out sometime! TFL Pam

Let Me Eggs-Plain.....LOL....This card is for the Clear Dollar Stamp Weekend Color Challenge over at www.papercraftplanet.com. You really should go over there and see some awesome cards that these ladies have made. Shawne picked So Saffron, Rose Red, and a cross between Old Olive and Kiwi Kiss which in a artist mind really means if you like it use it kinda of green..LOL.
The Neutral was either White or Ivory which I chose SU Whisper White. The DSP is from the Basic Grey Collection called Lemonade. The stamp set is called Farm Critters as is the sentiment as well. Some ribbon is So Saffron from SU and the designer ribbon is from the $1.00 bins at Michaels. The charms are from my bead working stash and actually came from Fie Mountain Gems. I used the border punch from Stampin' Up which brought the front card layer high enough up so you could see the little eggs that I stamped along the inside of the card. I used
Diamond Glaze on every other egg and the whole chicken. The other eggs and the hay the hen is laying on I used my So Saffron Marker of SU and then some stickles on top. I sponged around the whole card so my eyelet would pop. I also paper pierce the scalloped circle the hen is on and used pop up dots behind as well as I did on the sentiment. Shawne I loved the colors you chose and will use them together again I'm sure on my own!!! TFL Pam

MoJoMonday Sketch Challenge Week 102

This is for the MojoMonday Sketch Challenge week 102. This is my first time entering this challenge. I loved the layout. I wish my camera picked up the colors better. The Sahara Sand of SU matches to lighter color horses on the background perfectly in real life. My pink stones are not even showing up as good as they do in my hands. The Kind Birthday wishes is Crafty Secrets. It fit perfectly...at least you can tell that in this picture. My nephew's (whom I made a card for awhile ago here on my blog ) wife, Leah has a birthday after his so I made this for her.
If, you look back on my blog you can tell they are both horse lovers. My nephew is a real Cowboy and loves to rodeo. My CS is all Stampin Up. The DSP is by Moxxie. TFL Pam
