CDSWCC36

Happy Grandparents Day to all you Grandparents out there like myself!!!
This card is for the Clear Dollar Stamps Weekend Color Challenge #36 over at www.papercraftplanet. Alex Maldonado is our beautiful host this week from http://alexstamps.com You need to check her blog out and see some awesome creations of hers.
Make sure you check out the color challenge as well and see what everyone can come up with using the same colors. Pretty amazing!!!
The colors Alex chose is red, black, yellow, and white. We could use any shade of these colors. I went with the bolder side of them. The stamp set is from Clear Dollar Stamps of course and is called Tea-rrific. I used dazzling diamonds on my sugar cubes and crystal effects on my tea cup and teapot to give it a porcelain effect to both of them. I paper pieced of yellow DSP to give the illusion of a tablecloth. Did a little sponging and pierce the left top corner of the main image. TFL Pam

  3. I am partial to the tea pot. Your color palate is terrific and you can go sophisticate or whimsical in your layout. "5 lumps" please! layne
