CDSWCC38

This is the card I have done for the Clear Dollar Stamps Weekend Color Challenge over at papercraftplanet.com The beautiful and talented young lady ,Cassie, is our challenge host this weekend and did she ever give us a challenge..Sage Shadow, Apricot Appeal, Close to Cocoa, and optional was Really Rust and the neutrals were either Whisper White or Very Vanilla. I used some flower soft on the big tree. A little stickles on the evergreens just to make 'em pop not trying to make it look like ice. The cross charm was out of my stash from beading and the ribbon is Stampin' Up. I used the cross stamp out of the set to make my own DSP. The Classic Frame is from Spellbinders. The stamp sets I chose to use was Old time Church and Church Chatter for the sentiment on the inside which I am showing you for a reason. I always do the inside but very seldom show them but today I used this sentiment for a particular reason. Cassie's DH is fixing to be deployed for the 3rd time. I just felt in my heart while making this card that my God wanted her DH to know that mine family and a lot of others were so thankful for him and wanted him to know our prayers go with him! TFL Pam
One of the talented ladies that is always playing along with the CDSWCC suggested on my blog to enter this card in the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Card Challenge #6. So say a prayer for me. This card was intended for someone in particular and hopefully he won't mind sharing. Cassie, what do ya think? LOL Pam

  3. I don't know what to say, Pam, other than thank you. I had my husband read what you wrote and see your card. He told me to tell you how blessed he feels to have prayer go with him. On top of that your card is so lovely. Every detail adds to the elegance. I'm so glad you played, Pam, and thank you so much for thoughtfulness. We serve a big and wonderful God.
